Philippines Medical Mission Trip

Providing humanitarian medical, dental, and optical care to under-served communities in Manila.

How It Works

Each year, a team of medical professionals and volunteers from Australia travel to Manila to deliver four days of free clinical services across two sites. Working with local partner organisations, we provide essential healthcare to communities with limited access to medical services. Our clinics operate efficiently, serving hundreds of patients daily across medical, dental, and optical streams.

Medical

  • General health assessments and consultations
  • Basic treatments and medication provision
  • Health education and preventive care

Dental

  • Dental examinations
  • Basic dental health education
  • Emergency dental care and extractions

Optical

  • Vision testing and eye examinations
  • Prescription glasses provision
  • Reading glasses distribution

Where Funds Go

Every dollar of public donation goes directly to medications, treatments, and clinical supplies used in our clinics. Volunteers pay their own way, and all administration, training, and logistics costs are covered by sponsors. This means 100% of public donations support patient care on the ground.

  • Medications provided during clinics
  • Medical diagnostic & treatment consumables
  • Dental treatment consumables
  • Oral health education packs
  • Optical lenses, frames, and fittings
  • Single-use patient care items

Partner Organisations

PMMT is delivered through a partnership between local churches in Manila and Full Gospel Assembly Melbourne (FGAM). Manila partner churches provide community outreach and more than 100 local volunteers each year, while FGAM provides overall operational leadership and coordination.
